Britain's Next Top Model producers have rubbished claims that the show has a bias towards controversial contestants.
Chloe Peers - who was booted off in the first episode of the new series - alleges bosses put through bitchy women to attract viewers.
'It was obvious what they were looking for - and it wasn't the prettiest girls,' claims the 19-year-old (pictured below).
'I thought it was meant to be a modelling competition but it was more about making a bitchy TV show.'
But a spokesman for the programme - hosted by Elle Macpherson - has strongly denied the allegations.
'Suggestions that the show is fixed are completely unfounded,' he tells the Daily Star Sunday.
'All of the girls are assessed by the judging panel on their modelling potential and each had the opportunity to do this by participating in an individual catwalk and one-to-one Q & A with the judges.
'We strive to ensure that the show is as fair as possible and this year, for the first time, we are putting the outcome in the hands of the public by putting the final three contestants to a viewer vote.'
