This Morning to be aired at the weekend

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will host shows

Holly Willoughby hosts This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield

One-hour editions of This Morning will be broadcast on Saturdays and Sundays from this weekend.

Holly Willoughby, 28, and Phillip Schofield, 47, will present the special episodes.

They will feature highlights from the weekday programmes as well as new content.

‘This is a great natural progression for the show,' says executive producer Karl Newton.

‘It opens the programme up to a whole new audience who may miss out during the week.

‘It will also reflect viewers' thoughts as Phillip and Holly digest and comment on the huge amount of messages and calls we receive.'

This Morning will air on Saturday at 12.10pm and at noon on Sunday.
