Lily Allen makes a mean chicken tarragon and leek pie

Lily Allen wants to take part in cult TV show Come Dine With Me.

The singer announced her plans to quit the music industry earlier this year.

And she's already thinking about how she'll fill the void.

‘Now that I've retired I'm gonna try and get on Come Dine With Me,' she wrote on Twitter.

‘I'm making chicken tarragon and leek pie tonight. Yum...

‘Love Come Dine With Me! I'm well up for going on it - Channel 4 get on the UK music special!'

The show's voiceover man Dave Lamb has already contacted Lily, 24, following her declaration.

‘Would you like me to have a word?' he wrote.

Lily replied: ‘Ooooh, yes please.'
