Jessica Simpson dated John Mayer on/off for almost 2 years

Jessica Simpson says ex-boyfriend John Mayer messaged her to say sorry for talking about their sex life - but she refused to forgive him.

The rocker, 32, compared the singer to ‘crack cocaine' and ‘sexual napalm' in a recent interview in Playboy magazine.

'He did apologise,' Jessica, 29, revealed on The Oprah Winfrey Show yesterday.

'I don't accept it. It's just one of those things that...I don't resent him. I'm just going to let that go. That part of my life is over.'

Jessica, who split from John in 2007, says her ex should keep quiet about their relationship in the future.

'I tried to read the article, and I was so disappointed in him,' she said.

'It made me so sad, and it was really discouraging because that's not the John that I knew...I felt betrayed. I hope he gets his life together.

‘I'm a little bit angry. I don't want people to know how I am in bed!'
