Courtney Love once went out to dinner with Russell Brand

Courtney Love thinks Russell Brand is totally loved-up with Katy Perry.

The Hole singer, 45, says the comedian's a changed man.

'He's quite smitten,' she told Alan Carr: Chatty Man.

'He's very reformed with Katy Perry. And she's a sassy gal.

'She's quicker than me because she didn't do the drugs.'

Courtney admits she once went on a date with Russell, but he wasn't her type.

'He's too musky for me,' she added.

Katy, 25, and Russell, 34, got engaged in India on New Year's Eve.
