Dannii Minogue: I'll be giving birth during X Factor auditions

Dannii Minogue has been an X Factor judge for three years

Pregnant Dannii Minogue has revealed she will miss The X Factor auditions.

The singer is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kris Smith, 31, in July.

And her due date clashes with the early rounds of the ITV show.

'If they're auditioning in the hospital in Australia, yes [I'll be there], but otherwise, no!' says Dannii.

'I will totally miss Cheryl Cole, Louis Walsh and Simon Cowell and not being there for the auditions.

'But I really need to be near my family in Australia at such an important time.'

But Dannii's rep has played down suggestions she'll no longer be involved with the programme.

'She has absolutely not quit The X Factor,' the spokesman tells the Daily Record.

'Although she is having her baby at home in Australia, she would very much like to still be a part of the show in some capacity when it returns.'

Meanwhile, Dannii, 38, has revealed she wants her baby to grow up Down Under and in the UK.

'I'll be having an international baby,' she tells Metro. 'It's really important to me that the baby knows both places really well.

'I have lived half my life here now so the child should see both worlds. Besides, Daddy is from here and we both love it here.'
