James Corden tipped to star in Doctor Who

James Corden has apparently signed up to appear in the new series of Doctor Who.

The Gavin & Stacey star, 31, was spotted visiting the set of the BBC show in Cardiff.

‘We normally keep our guest stars under wraps but you can't hide a bloke like James,' a source tells The Sun.

‘And now he's not coming to Wales for Gavin & Stacey any more, it's pretty obvious why he is here...We're just delighted to have James on board.'

The new Doctor Who series starts in Easter, with Matt Smith, 26, taking over from David Tennant as the Time Lord.
