Ex-model loses out in skate-off

Heather Mills had vegan ice skates made for Dancing On Ice

Heather Mills has been eliminated from Dancing On Ice.

Sir Paul McCartney's ex-wife ended up in the bottom two with Hollyoaks star Kieron Richardson and lost out in the skate-off.

The judges chose to save Kieron and partner Brianne Delcourt.

Heather, 42 - who lasted 5 weeks in the ITV show - thanked her skating partner Matt Evers for all his help during her time in the contest.

And she's glad she's demonstrated that having an artificial limb hasn't stopped her living her life.

'By doing Dancing On Ice, people's perceptions of disability is changed,' she says. 'If you're a new amputee, the fear of life is so awful.

'To see someone up there ice skating will give them real hope.'
