Ekaterina Ivanova was close to tears on Celebrity Big Brother after Alex Reid poked fun at her.

The cage fighter suggested the ex-waitress rekindle her romance with Basshunter to avoid eviction.

‘Do you know what could guarantee you staying in?' he said.

‘Just think how popular you'd be, romance on a celebrity TV show.

'You could be the new Katie [Price] and Peter [Andre].'

Ekaterina replied: ‘I don't want to be Katie and Peter. I just want to be Katia.'

The 21-year-old is up against Heidi Fleiss and Lady Sovereign in Friday's double eviction.
