Celebrity Big Brother's Ekaterina Ivanova has called time on her brief fling with Basshunter.

The pair had grown close since entering the house and have shared a number of intimate kisses.

But Ekaterina, 21, known to housemates as Katia, told Basshunter, 25, she saw no future for them.

‘I was thinking, we need to stop this,' she said. ‘It's not worth it in the end and we're more friends anyway.

‘Before it gets out of hand. I'll regret it. I really care about someone else.

‘If I had nothing going on now, I'd be like yeah! If someone walked in now and they farted a lot, you'd probably be the same.'

Basshunter, real name Jonas Altberg, insisted he was 'cool' with her decision and gave her an affectionate peck on the cheek.
