Ant and Dec lead National TV Awards nominations

Dermot O'Leary due to host ceremony

Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are best friends

Declan Donnelly and Anthony McPartlin are in the running for three gongs at this year's National TV Awards.

The comedy duo are up for TV Presenters Of The Year against Paul O'Grady, Michael McIntyre and Holly Willoughby.

Ant and Dec's shows I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! and Saturday Night Takeaway are in the Entertainment Programme category while Britain's Got Talent is nominated for the Best Talent Show prize. 

Of the other awards, Coronation Street stars Gray O'Brien, Katherine Kelly and Simon Gregson are up against EastEnders' Lacey Turner for the Serial Drama Performance trophy.

The Bill, Casualty, Doctor Who and Shameless will compete for Best Drama.

Dermot O'Leary will host the ceremony at London's O2 Arena on 20 January.
