Evangeline Lilly: Living in Hawaii is a struggle

Lost actress says humidity takes its toll

Evangeline Lilly uses a parasol in Hawaii to protect her skin from the sun

Evangeline Lilly insists living in Hawaii isn't all it's cracked up to be.

The Lost actress lives in the exotic location while she's filming the TV show.

‘It's definitely a struggle to live there year in and year out,' she says.

‘Hawaii is very small. It's very humid. It's very hot. It's very old fashioned.

‘I'm from Canada and I'm not used to the tropics or the tropical air, so it has definitely taken its toll on me.'

But Evangeline, 30, insists it's a stunning place.

‘Hawaii is unbelievably beautiful and it's inspiring to look around with the mountains and the aquamarine waters and white sand,' she adds.
