Stacey Solomon may have told Olly Murs last week she loved him and revealed that she would've left The X Factor if it wasn't for his support, but now she's begging him not to hurt her or break her heart.
Show insiders say Olly, 25, ‘backed right off' after he ended up in the bottom two on George Michael week, realising that he has to work harder than ever to stay in.
Stacey, 20, has been ‘in tears', asking to get to the bottom of what's going on between them, but Olly's been avoiding her.
‘Stacey's upset because she depended on Olly giving her affection to get through the stress of being in the house,' says our source.
‘The two of them have been completely inseparable for the past few weeks and he's even met Stacey's mum. But now he prefers to be on his own a lot more.
'He says he's got to focus on his songs, but she's scared he's not that into her any more but doesn't know how to tell her.'
Speaking exclusively to Now, Olly's brother Ben has revealed his twin doesn't have ‘a type' but is into Stacey.
‘If he finds someone attractive, they're his type and I know he gets on with Stacey really well. He's kept pretty quiet about relationships, but Olly's not as cocksure as he seems. He's actually quite sensitive and shy.'
