Alexandra Burke has revealed her diva side.

The singer admits she threw a bit of a strop when she found out her new video would be shot in England, and convinced Simon Cowell to send her to LA instead.

‘I had a big diva fit when they told me I was filming the Broken Heels video in England,' she says.

‘I had a meeting with Simon and threw a right strop. I sat down in his office opposite him, looked him right in the eye and told him I wanted to go somewhere hot, so he just said "LA darling?" and I was like "Yes please" and that was that.'

Alexandra, 21, has previously admitted that unlike many people, she is not afraid of music mogul Simon, 50.

‘Simon and everyone at Sony puts up with a lot from me,' she tells the Daily Star Sunday. ‘I can be a bit of a diva from time to time.'
