John and Edward: We're too young for girlfriends

Twins want to focus on their careers

John and Edward Grimes always wear the same clothes

X Factor rejects John and Edward Grimes aren't looking for girlfriends.

The twins, 18, are too busy to start dating.

'The thing is, if you have a girlfriend you are always going to be missing somebody while you are away,' says John.

'We are only 18 so we are too young to commit to a relationship.

'In the future, in terms of the girls we like, we love Cameron Diaz, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. We would go for a girl who is humble and sensitive.'

But the lads do plan to get a pet.

'I guess if we could have something ourselves I'd like to get a new dog,' Edward tells the Daily Mirror. 'A Chihuahua would be cool.'
