SAD NEWS Paul O'Grady's dog dies

Elderly Buster is put down by vets

Paul O'Grady is heartbroken

Paul O'Grady has been devastated by the death of his pet dog.

Buster, 14½, a shih tzu and bichon frise cross, was put to sleep by vets.

He had been diagnosed with cancer and appeared to be in considerable pain.

A spokesman for Paul says he is ‘absolutely gutted'.

The 54-year-old found Buster on a motorway and he became a regular on his Channel 4 chat show.

Fans loved him so much that a nodding toy version was made.

Paul's other dogs - Olga and Bullseye - have now taken over Buster's TV duties.
