Jamie Archer left the The X Factor tonight.
He was placed in the bottom two alongside 16-year-old Lloyd Daniels in the results show so the pair competed in the sing-off.
Jamie, 34, went first and sang The Show Must Go On by Queen. Lloyd followed with Last Request by Paolo Nutini.
The judges vote was split - again. Simon Cowell voted to keep Jamie, his own act, and Dannii Minogue agreed.
Cheryl Cole saved Lloyd, who she mentors, and Louis Walsh chose him, too.
After the deadlock, Dermot O'Leary revealed that Jamie, who looked devastated, had the fewest public votes.
'I just want to thank everyone who supported me,' the singer told the audience. 'It's not the end, it's the beginning.'
