Rihanna to perform on The X Factor

Star will sing track Russian Roulette

Rihanna's new album Rated R is out later this month

Rihanna is to appear on The X Factor later this month.

The Umbrella star will perform new single Russian Roulette on the ITV programme.

‘I'm beyond excited,' Rihanna, 21, tells the Daily Mirror. ‘It was the easiest decision I've ever made.

'Many people watch the show over here on YouTube and I caught a lot of it when Leona Lewis was on.

‘So saying yes to Simon Cowell was an honour.'

Leona, 24, Bon Jovi, Whitney Houston and Robbie Williams have already performed on the live shows this series.
