Marvin Humes thinks Irish twins John and Edward Grimes can win The X Factor

JLS: John and Edward can win The X Factor

They reckon the public are behind the twins

Wednesday, 4 November 2009

JLS predict John and Edward Grimes will go all the way on this year's X Factor.

The twins - dubbed Jedward by fans - have proved popular with the public because of their outrageous performances.

‘Of course they can win it,' says Marvin Humes, 24. ‘We have seen the bookies slash the odds.

'The best thing about The X Factor is that people at home decide.'

Bandmate Oritse Williams was delighted to meet the duo, 18, backstage when the band performed on the results show on Sunday night.

‘Those guys are fantastic and their desire to learn is incredible,' he tells Metro.

‘They kept stopping us and going "What do you think of this and that?" They just really want to get better and they are working hard...

‘They are the kind of act that entertains people and I definitely think the people are glued to the TV because of them.'

I am really annoyed to see John and Edward getting so much bad press. Fair enough if you they aren't your cup of tea, but to say that these guys are bigheaded and up themselves is wrong, there's nothing wrong with a bit of confidence, which is essential to win. If they really are holding better acts back from winning, then why have people voted for them and not the contestants that have been voted out? They're only young and people should give them a chance, they may not be good singers, but they are good entertainers, and there's nothing wrong with that.

its the xfactor- so its a singing competition, so not good singers isnt good enough! Thats why they should go to britains got talent instead if you think they are good entertainers.
