Rihanna to speak about Chris Brown assault on TV

Interview will air in the States on Thursday

Rihanna has not spoken out about the incident before

Rihanna is to break her silence about being attacked by Chris Brown on US TV this week.

The hip hop star was sentenced to five years' probation after pleading guilty to assaulting the Umbrella singer before the Grammys in February.

In an interview to broadcast in the States on Thursday, Rihanna admits Chris, 20, was her ‘first big love'.

Commercials promoting the emotional chat on Good Morning America have already started to air.

Rihanna, 21, releases her new album Rated R on 23 November.
