Chris Brown: Will Smith reached out to me

Chris Brown has been ordered to stay away from his ex-girlfriend Rihanna

Chris Brown has revealed Will Smith contacted him after he assaulted Rihanna.

The hip hop star pleaded guilty to attacking his now ex-girlfriend, 21, in February.

‘Will Smith called me and he was talking to me one-on-one, man to man,' said Chris, 20. 'Puffy called me.

‘[Will] reached out a hand and helped. I needed them to kind of mould me into different things.'

But Chris reckons Oprah Winfrey, who hosted a domestic violence inspired show after the incident, could have behaved differently.

‘I just feel me and her did so many things together, I felt that at the time, I needed a helping hand - just talk to me and Rihanna,' he told New York radio station Hot 97.

‘I'm not even saying have me on the show but... help. Just help. Because I thought that we had that relationship to where it could be like that.'
