Posh asked to make cameo in US show

Victoria Beckham made a cameo appearance in US show Ugly Betty

Victoria Beckham has apparently agreed to star in Gossip Girl.

The former Spice Girl, 35, is expected fly to New York tomorrow to shoot her scenes.

It's thought Blake Lively, 22, who plays Serena van der Woodsen, persuaded Victoria to make a cameo.

‘Blake attended the unveiling of Victoria's collection in New York last month, alongside the series' stylist Eric Damen,' a source tells the Daily Mirror.

‘The trio started chatting and Victoria revealed she was a huge fan of the show.

'From here, Blake pleaded with her to guest star in an episode and ran the idea past producers.'

Hilary Duff, Tyra Banks and Lady GaGa have appeared in the series.
