Naomi Watts tops ‘best value actress' list

Star beats Jennifer Connelly and Rachel McAdams

Australian actress Naomi Watts starred in The Ring and King Kong

Naomi Watts is the actress who provides the best return for film studios, according to Forbes.

The King Kong star made $44 at the box office for every $1 she was paid.

Jennifer Connelly was second with $41 and Rachel McAdams was third with $30.

Other actresses in the top ten were Meryl Streep, Halle Berry, Anne Hathaway and Hilary Swank.

Forbes took into account estimated salary, the movies' budgets and box office earnings.
