Brian Fortuna: I lucked out with Ali Bastian

The Strictly stars reveal all about romance on the dancefloor

Ali Bastian and her Strictly Come Dancing partner Brian Fortuna are close

Strictly Come Dancing's Ali Bastian and her professional dance partner Brian Fortuna ooze sexual chemistry.

But Ali, 26 - who split from rugby-playing boyfriend Nick Kennedy a few months ago - insists there's no romance.

'We're just really good friends. Honestly! We clicked straight away,' she protests.

'I feel lucky to have him as a partner. He's an incredible dancer. I love watching him - he's breathtaking. I can't believe I'm being taught by someone so talented.

'We have a lot of laughs, but he works me hard. As well as teaching me, he keeps my confidence up, so he's like my very own psychologist!

'I can see how it's easy to fall for someone when you're dancing with them because you spend so much time together and you have to trust them.'

Brian, 27, has made his feeling for Ali very clear.

‘I lucked out this year. Not only is she beautiful, but she's talented,' he says.

'From day one, Ali and I have got on really well and I love dancing with her. I get more of a rush dancing on live TV than I did when I went sky diving!'
