Ant and Dec to bring back Name That Tune

New show will air on Five next year

Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are best friends

Declan Donnelly and Anthony McPartlin are reviving cult 80s game show Name That Tune.

The Britain's Got Talent hosts will co-produce the series - which sees contestants trying to guess song titles in as few notes as possible.

The new Name That Tune will air on Five early next year.

‘It has fabulous production values, tension, excitement, celebrity and is full of surprises,' head of entertainment Donna Taberer tells the BBC.

‘It's Five's first big-budget, musical entertainment series, and I'm thrilled to have it.'

Meanwhile, Ant, 33, and Dec, 34, have rubbished reports they won't make another series of hit ITV programme Saturday Night Takeaway.

‘It has not been axed,' a rep tells Now Online. ‘Ant and Dec are very much looking forward to the tenth series of the show in the future.'
