Keith Floyd's life was celebrated during an emotional funeral yesterday.
The chef, 65, who was diagnosed with bowel cancer in June, died of a heart attack last month.
Over 300 family and friends turned up for the humanist service in Bristol.
Keith's body was carried in a coffin made of banana leaves.
Comedian Jim Davidson was among the mourners.
‘He was such a positive man in a very difficult world,' he said. ‘He was the first of a kind.
‘It didn't matter what he cooked, he would just swig that glass of wine and we all loved him.'
Celeb chefs Marco Pierre White and Jean-Christophe Novelli were unable to attend due to work commitments.
Marco is planning a party at his Knightsbridge restaurant next month to celebrate Keith's life.
