Dennis Hopper rushed to hospital

Actor sparks fears for his health

Dennis Hopper starred in Apocalypse Now and Blue Velvet

Dennis Hopper has been admitted to a New York hospital.

The Easy Rider star, 73, was apparently spotted wearing an oxygen mask as he was wheeled into a clinic yesterday.

Dennis is being treated for flu-like symptoms and a stomach ailment, his rep Sheila Feren tells The Associated Press.

His public appearances have been cancelled.
