Judge gets a lot of flak from viewers

Craig Revel Horwood is the hardest judge to please

Craig Revel Horwood has revealed that he was assaulted by a Strictly Come Dancing viewer.

The unnamed female approached the judge while he was walking in Newbury, Berkshire, recently.

‘A woman came up to me in the street, said, "You're awful on that show!" and slapped me right across the face,' he explains.

Craig gets a lot of abuse for his harsh comments on the BBC programme.

‘You're followed in the street, people scream at you,' he tells the Daily Express. ‘I've even been rammed by a shopping trolley in Sainsbury's.

‘It's really quite odd. People think they know me as I am on their televisions every Saturday.

‘It was quite shocking to begin with but after 6 series I'm used to it now.'
