Javine's facing life without MC Harvey while his ex is doing better than ever

Alesha Dixon's career is going from strength to strength

They say once a cheat, always a cheat and Javine would certainly agree after the shock discovery that her partner, former So Solid Crew rapper Harvey, is up to his old tricks.

Fed up with rumours that he was doing the dirty on her, singer Javine has dumped Harvey, 30, after finding proof - said to be receipts - that he wasn't where he'd claimed to be and had been seeing someone behind her back.

A friend tells Now: ‘You know when you just know? The worst thing was that Harvey didn't deny it. Javine doesn't want to see him at the moment. It just feels so raw.'

Javine left the family home with their one-year-old daughter Angel a fortnight ago and those close to her say the split's final.

‘She's regrouping, trying to decide where her life goes from now and trying to get some dignity back,' says the friend.

As Javine contemplates her future as a single mum, the 27-year-old might be reflecting on how she first got together with Harvey in 2006, when the pair both appeared on reality TV show The Games.

Back then, it was his wife Alesha Dixon who faced the humiliation of him cheating and the pain of rebuilding her life without her husband.

She went on to win Strictly Come Dancing and though her role as a judge on the show has caused controversy, the singer has regained her confidence.

'She's not the type to gloat,' says a friend, 'but it's doubtful if she'd had got this far if she'd still been married to Harvey.'
