Gordon Ramsay got fired up when he was asked if he still cooks in his restaurants.
BBC Breakfast host Bill Turnbull wanted know if he'd be able to eat food prepared by the chef.
'Of course I still cook,' quipped Gordon, 42.
'When you go and spend £500 on an Armani suit and you are happy with it, you don't ask the lady at the desk whether it was Georgio himself who stitched it.
'I know the confidence I have in my team, the fact that we've been together for over ten years, and how can you propel talent if you don't expose them?
‘I am 42 years of age. I have been at the stove for 21 years, I want a life outside my kitchen, sorry.
'Would you like me to polish your shoes Bill? Come on, get a life.'
As the interview about Gordon's involvement with Comic Relief drew to a close, Bill said: 'I managed to wind up Gordon Ramsay. Good stuff.'
To which Gordon replied: 'You did it brilliantly.'
