Susan Boyle is mobbed in LA

Britain's Got Talent star is an A-lister

Susan Boyle's album has out-sold pre-release titles including Whitney Houston's comeback record

Susan Boyle was greeted by a horde of fans as she arrived in LA yesterday. 

The Britain's Got Talent runner-up made her way through the crowd with the help of two minders.

Over 50 paparazzi lined the exit of LAX airport to catch a glimpse of Susan, 48.

But she took it all in her stride as she smiled, blew kisses and waved to her followers.

Susan is in the States to appear on the final of America's Got Talent on 16 September.

Her debut album I Dreamed A Dream is due to be released on 23 November.
