Mel B: I’d like to go on The X Factor

Scary Spice wants a chance to be involved with the show

Mel B is married to producer Stephen Belafonte

Ex Spice Girl Mel B is keen to work with Simon Cowell, but only if she can find space in her diary.

‘I’d like to go on The X Factor,’ says Mel. ‘I’m not sure if I’d be able to fit it in right now but it’s something I’d consider.’

The 34-year-old was tipped for a spot on the judging panel when Sharon Osbourne quit the show in 2008.

But the job went to Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole, 26.

Now it's rumoured Mel will help judge Louis Walsh choose his acts for this year’s show.

‘I didn’t know that,’ she says. ‘Perhaps I should ask him.’
