Justin Lee Collins signs £1m deal with Five

Comedian working on series of programmes for broadcaster

Justin Lee Collins has worked for ITV2 and Channel 4

Justin Lee Collins has become the new face of Five.

The former Sunday Night Project host has signed an exclusive 2-year deal that will net him £1million.

Justin, 35, will make his debut in the autumn fronting Heads Or Tails, in which contestants can become millionaires on the flip of a coin.

'I am thrilled to bits to be working exclusively with Five and to be making shows that I'm really passionate about,' he says.

Justin will also film a series of factual and entertainment programmes for the broadcaster.

‘He is undoubtedly a unique TV phenomenon who is equally at home in a big studio, out on location or being around the public or celebrities,’ channel controller Richard Woolfe says in a statement.

‘He exudes warmth, passion and guarantees to put a smile on everyone's face. He is indeed the new face of Five.’
