Davina McCall wants Big Brother to go out on a high.
Channel 4 has confirmed it is to axe the reality show in the wake of poor viewing figures.
The final series will be aired next summer as part of a deal with makers Endemol and Davina hopes it will be a huge success.
'I adore Big Brother,' she says. 'It's been with me for the best 10 years of my life.
'It's funny, smart, innovative, thought-provoking entertainment at its best. I am proud to be part of it.
'Let's make next year's series the best ever!'
But Dermot O'Leary, who hosted Big Brother's Little Brother, reckons Channel 4 have made the right decision.
'It was the making of me,' he tells The Sun. 'But I've fallen out of love with it - I was there for 7 years and I can't keep watching. I haven't been blown away by the cast this year.'
Endemol could revive the show if they reach an agreement with another broadcaster.
