Former Strictly judge is in demand
Thursday, 27 August 2009
Arlene Phillips has apparently been approached by Sky One to join its new reality dance series.
Bosses are said to want the Strictly Come Dancing star to become a judge on Just Dance.
The show, which will be hosted by Davina McCall, 41, aims to find Britain’s best performers.
‘Not only is she a fantastic choreographer, but she is a natural on screen,’ a source tells The Sun. 'We would be delighted and honoured if Arlene joined the show.
‘Her great passion of dance and helping young dancers reach their potential is exactly what this show aims to do.’
Arlene, 66, has been replaced by Alesha Dixon, 30, on Strictly.
She has been moved to The One Show, where she will be Strictly correspondent.
Just Dance will air on Sky One in January.
