Simon Cowell buys £7k bag for Alexandra Burke

Judge splashes out on The X Factor winner

Alexandra Burke’s new track Bad Boys is released on 12 October

Alexandra Burke was treated to a £7,000 Chanel bag from Simon Cowell to mark her 21st  birthday yesterday.

The X Factor 2008 winner also received a grey Tabitha bag from Dannii Minogue, 37, while her PR company arranged a stay for her at the Kensington Hotel.

Mentor Cheryl Cole, 26, rang from Morocco to pass on her wishes and reportedly told Alex she’s booking her a £5,000 trip to the Seychelles.

Alex splashed out some of her own cash, too.

‘She decided to treat herself to a Stella McCartney outfit, Christian Louboutin heels and a Tiffany ring,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror.

Later, Alexandra went for a family meal at Nobu in Mayfair before heading for her star-studded birthday party at London's Shoreditch House.

Guests included Myleene Klass, JLS, and former contestants Ruth Lorenzo and Laura White.
