Holly Willoughby gets overcome with nerves when grilling Simon Cowell.

The Xtra Factor presenter often has to chat to him for backstage segments.

‘I’m terrified of Simon,’ Holly tells Hello! ‘I’m never more nervous than when I have to interview him. He’s the only person I’ve had that with, ever.

‘He has never been anything but nice to me. He’s really fair, he gives great interviews.

'But it’s this aura he’s got. I literally feel like I’m interviewing my headmaster and I haven’t done my homework.’

Holly, 28, replaces Fern Britton on This Morning from 15 September.
