Paula Abdul tipped to appear in Ugly Betty

Ex Idol judge said to be in talks with producers

Paula Abdul will be replaced by guest judges, including Victoria Beckham and Katy Perry, on American Idol

Paula Abdul could make a cameo in Ugly Betty.

Producers are said to want her to play a Mode magazine temp who befriends the show's bitch Amanda Tanen.

Paula is in talks with US reality programmes So You Think You Can Dance? and Dancing With The Stars.

The 48-year-old quit American Idol last week, announcing the news on Twitter.
