The BBC has dropped its Sunday night episode of Strictly Come Dancing.
A pre-recorded results programme has been screened a day after the main show for two years.
But now an extended 90-minute version will be aired on a Saturday instead.
‘We wanted to make Strictly Come Dancing an unmissable TV event so we are packing all the action into one dramatic show,’ says a spokeswoman.
‘Audiences will be watching, voting and seeing who is in and who is out on Saturday night.’
Former EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy, Sharon Osbourne and Coronation Street's Reece Dinsdale are tipped to appear in the new series.
