Doctor Who star captured in oils by illusionist Derren Brown

David Tennant has a huge number of female fans

David Tennant has been painted by Derren Brown, who enjoys picking up a brush as much as reading people's minds.

The illusionist, 38, has an exhibition of his portaits at the Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery in London from 6 - 22 August and David is one of his subjects.

'If I wasn't a magician, I'd paint,' says Derren. 'It’s always been my first love – but I don’t know how much of a living I’d make.'

The Doctor Who star looks rather threatening in the picture, which is far from flattering, but there's no doubt it's him.
