Comedian indulges in a tipple if guests are boring

Graham Norton likes to get a bit tipsy during his chat show.
The Irish comedian finds a tipple or two helps get him get through tough interviews.
‘If a guest is being a bit boring you go: “Ah wine, my friend”,' says Graham, 46.
'And then you perk up. It just keeps you interested. I drink all the time. Anything you can see through I believe has fewer calories so white wine, vodka, champagne, gin, rum – the list is endless.’
Graham says Mickey Rourke, 52, came well prepared when he appeared as a guest on the programme.
‘I happened to be waiting outside,' he tells Chelsea Lately. 'I saw him get out of the car with a bottle of Jack Daniel’s.’
