The real reasons why the singer still can't move on from Chris Brown

Sources say that Rihanna has anger issues

Rumours of a reunion between Rihanna and Chris Brown were rife last month after they were seen at the same New York hotel.

The pair were spotted, albeit separately, at the Trump International Hotel & Tower on 24 July.

‘It was a coincidence,’ said Rihanna’s people. ‘She’s stayed there before, as have thousands of people.’

That may be so, but with scores of top-class hotels in New York, it seems unlikely that two people avoiding each other would both have chosen the same one.

‘She won’t say, but it seems likely they did spend the night together,’ a friend tells Now. ‘Rihanna’s never cut her ties with Chris. Something keeps drawing her back.’

The world was shocked by the brutal injuries that Chris, 20, inflicted on Rihanna, 21, in February. But according to friends, he isn’t the only one with issues.

‘Rihanna’s hot-tempered and struggling with anger issues,’ says one friend. ‘She’s frustrated at not being able to speak to Chris when she wants.

‘She’s been seeing a therapist to deal with her anger. Her biggest problem is she can’t back down. If someone confronts her, she stands her ground.

'Ever since this nightmare with Chris unfolded, she’s been snapping at people. She regrets that night more than anything else in her life. Chris was her first love.’

Last week, Rihanna admitted to members of her entourage that her intolerance has reached breaking point.

‘She gets upset about the smallest thing,’ says the source. Rihanna’s even worried that her temper was a contributing factor to the bust-up.

‘She’s not blaming herself for the way he reacted, which she knows was wrong, but she’s acknowledged to friends that the fights she had with Chris prior to that were her fault as much as his.'
