Kevin Federline has started shooting a reality TV show about being a full-time dad.

The former backing dancer, 31, is hoping VH1 will commission a series after seeing a pilot.

'It's definitely not a done deal,' says a source.

Kevin is dad to Sean Preston, 3, and Jayden James, 2, with ex-wife Britney Spears.

He also has Kori, 7, and Kaleb, 5, with Shar Jackson.

Kevin, who took part in fly-on-the-wall documentary Chaotic with Britney, 27, in 2005, is staying tight-lipped about the new project. 

'I have a lot of different things I'm working on right now,' he tells People. 'None of the things are really floating yet...as soon as I have the chance to come out and tell everybody about it, I will.'
