Torchwood star could join cast of hit US show

John Barrowman did not elaborate on what the role might be

John Barrowman has revealed he's in talks with Desperate Housewives bosses.

The actor is flying to LA to discuss appearing in the US show.

‘I probably shouldn’t say this but I’ve got a meeting with the execs of Desperate Housewives,’ John, 42, told Chris Moyles on his Radio 1 show.

‘Can you believe it? I’m going to be a Desperate Housewife.’

Meanwhile, Jesse Metcalfe will return as gardener John Rowland in the new series.
