Tyra Banks to appear in Gossip Girl

Model will play an actress in the third series

Supermodel Tyra Banks played Zoe in the movie Coyote Ugly in 2000

Tyra Banks will make a cameo in US TV show Gossip Girl, her rep confirms.

The America's Next Top Model host will play actress Ursula Nyquist in the upcoming third series, to be screened in the States in October.

Hilary Duff has also been signed up to make a guest appearance, reports Us Weekly.

She’ll play a movie star who enrols at NYU and shares a rooms with Jessica Szohr's character, Vanessa.
