Fiona Phillips: I'll never go back to GMTV

Presenter doesn't miss early starts

Fiona Phillips appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2005

Fiona Phillips has vowed not to return to GMTV.

The presenter quit in 2008 after 15 years on the ITV breakfast show.  

'I loved it, but I don't miss those 4am starts,' Fiona, 49, tells Now.

'I'm enjoying having my life back and believe that once you've made a decision, you shouldn't go back.'

Fiona, who was replaced by Emma Crosby, says she still gets stopped in the street by GMTV fans.

'I do get recognised quite a bit,' she adds.

'It's nice when people approach me for a chat and say their mornings aren't the same without me.'
