David Tennant: Billie flashed boobs for faster Top Gear lap time

Doctor Who star admits he is a sore loser

David Tennant is unlikely to become the next Lewis Hamilton

David Tennant has joked that Billie Piper had an unfair advantage when competing in a Top Gear race - because she flashed her breasts.

The actress, 26, notched up a time of 1minute 48.3seconds when she took part in the Star In A Reasonably Priced Car challenge.

But Doctor Who star David, who could only manage 1minute 48.8seconds, reckons she used her assets to influence the timekeeper.

‘I’m still sore she beat me,’ the 38-year-old said at the Comic-Con event in San Diego yesterday.

‘She got her time bumped because she was wearing a see-through top.

'And if Billie Piper didn’t have such great breasts, I would be faster than Billie! It’s so unfair!’

But Top Gear bosses insist the lap times are correct.

‘David is clearly joking,’ a spokeswoman tells the Daily Star. ‘Billie beat him fair and square.’

Meanwhile, David has rubbished reports he'll star in Lord Of The Rings prequel The Hobbit.

'I'm 6ft 1in,' he said. 'Hobbits are little. But I have hairy toes.'
