Jessica Simpson said Tony Romo was her 'future husband'

Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo broke up a day before her 29th birthday, according to US reports.

The pair are said to have decided to call time on their relationship on Thursday.

‘She is heartbroken,’ a source tells People. ‘She loves Tony. But it's been difficult lately.

'He's busy with his career and she's getting ready to shoot her show. They decided to part ways.’

Jessica and Tony, 29, have been dating since November 2007. 

Their reps were unavailable for comment.
