Matt Smith is the 11th Doctor Who

New Doctor Who Matt Smith has apparently broken up with his Brazilian girlfriend Mayana Moura.

The couple are said to have struggled to maintain their long-distance romance.

‘Matt and Mayana adore each other, but the timing was not right and the relationship just ran its course,’ a source tells The Sun.

‘He has been up in Cardiff for the past few weeks filming and he will be in Wales for the next four months on a very gruelling shoot.’

Matt, 26, replaces current Time Lord David Tennant, 38, next year.

His rep told Now Online: ‘I don’t comment on my clients’ personal lives.’
