Simon Cowell will look after Sinitta's children should anything happen to her.

The X Factor judge has been supporting the singer following her split from husband Andy Willner, with whom she adopted Magdelena, 3, and Zac, 2.

‘Simon has said, "Don't worry, the kids will always be okay,"’ Sinitta tells Hello!

'I’m not financially dependent on him and never have been; it is not his responsibility to take care of us, that’s my job now.

‘But he has offered his support and helps me tremendously by employing me as a mentor on The X Factor and being a fantastic godfather.

'I know if anything happened to me, he’d step in and take care of my babies, if necessary.’
